Day 6: Victoria

Day 6 - 0 km (1381 km total)

First full day (1 of 5) that we are spending in Victoria with mom. The day consisted of yummy breakfast, playing with , running some errands and hunting down fresh fruit!

We are staying outside of Victoria in West Saanich. The area is so nice here, and the house feels like it's in the middle of a forest with no one else around. I was able to spend a bunch of time just watching birds (humming birds included!) flying around.

This area also has a ton of farmers market style fresh fruit stands everywhere. It makes it easy to hunt down local strawberries on demand . Even better is cherry picking right in the front yard.

Another one of my favourite things to do here is stop into a little Italian style cafe called Mosi. All of the baked goods are soooo good. Eating those yummies always makes me feel like I’m on vacation.

Outlook for the rest of the week? More chillin’ and the weather is supposed to be sunny for the weekend!
